In each tier, the team that completes the most races earns 3 points, the team with the best average WPM earns 1 point, and the team with the highest average accuracy also earns 1 point. This means that 5 points are awarded in each tier. This setup ensures that no tier is more important than another. I've always loved the intensity of a match between two high-level sports teams. Being Canadian, I grew up watching NHL hockey.
